Tess of the D'Urbervilles Movie!

Tess of the D'Urbervilles PBSI’m stoked! Just found out that PBS has a new film version of Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles in their Masterpiece series. It’s showing January 4-11, 2009 on PBS. Gemma Arterton stars as Tess, Eddie Redmayne as Angel, and Hans Matheson as Alec D’Urberville. Should be interesting to see how it compares to the book.
