Book Covers as Posters, Part II

I’m still trying to figure out what to do with a lot of blank wall space in my apartment, so I’ve been doing some more hunting for prints of book covers.  Some of my favorite book posters from art.com this round are below.

Book Covers as Posters

the-great-gatsby

Those pretty covers of the Whites Books I posted on Wednesday got me thinking about book covers. Turns out there is a book cover archive, a website entirely devoted to cataloging books covers for your viewing pleasure. It’s really fun/addicting to browse through. I was also hunting around art.com and I found some great prints of book covers. In general, so many of the book cover prints on the site have wonderfully bright colors. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a few favorites on the wall? I’m currently on a quest to prettify quite a bit of blank wall space in my apartment, and these could do quite nicely. I like the idea of putting them in a hallway, so it will be like perusing a bookshelf as you walk past. I was never a huge fan of The Great Gatsby actually, but that cover is so pretty I might have to give it a second chance!
